Oluwamuyiwa Ajaja: Oluwamuyiwa is a versatile young man from Ilesa West. He is selected as one of the Advocates for OsunOpenLG Project. As a young man, Oluwamuyiwa has been involved in various civic engagement, he has also volunteered for so many organisations like Tranquil Youth Organization of Nigeria, Ijesa Progresssive Youth Development, Waterlight Save Initiative, Ilesa Youth Directorate Development, Disability Support and Rehabilitation Centre, Ilesa Branch and Value Female Network among others. As part of his community social responsibility, he has attended workshop programme on Strengthening resilience and adaptive capacity to climate change related hazards and natural disasters in marginalised communities, he also offered support in Social Support Outreach Programme for the Special Friends in Ilesa, Osun State. He believes that civic participation and digital advocacy will provide provide a platform for democratic and accountable government for local communities.
Ogunlade Folakemi: Folakemi is an active and vibrant young lady from Ilesa West LGA. She is selected as one of the Advocates for OsunOpenLG Project. As a young lady, she has volunteered for Young African Leadership Initiatives (YALI), Ijesa Democratic Union of Nigeria (IDUN), Tranquil Youth Organization of Nigeria (TYON). She also participated in the town hall meeting with the United Nations Office of the West Africa and the Sahel, (UNOWAS) on the impact of young women and men at the heart of innovation and the construction of peaceful and resilient societies in Abuja. As part of her community social responsibility, Folakemi participated in a jointly organized peaceful protest in demanding for justice served and human rights of sexual and gender based violence victims, she volunteered for the social and economic non violent demonstration of the rights of people with disabilities. She joined the movement of human rights and social activism campaigns on demanding for youth employment, community mobilization, social accountability and transparent justice and she participated in the peaceful march of “Vote Not Fight, Election no be War” campaign in full preparedness for the General Elections. she organised an advocacy campaign on equipping young Nigerian women and men with skills and tools to start, manage and sustain leadership development training, and management capacity.
